Get Ready for Careers in Construction 2026 | The King’s Trust and Optimum Skills

We’ve had an amazing second year of working in partnership with The King’s Trust, one of the UK’s biggest youth charities, delivering the Get Ready for Careers in Construction Course!

The course helps young people build skills and develop confidence to kickstart careers in construction. The young people who take part get hands-on experience in each trade, learning about bricklaying, joinery, roofing, and more! We are also pleased to share that all the learners who took part in this course have been offered a place on the Optimum Skills Pre-Apprenticeship Programme, with the opportunity to progress into an apprenticeship in their chosen trade!
