Knife Angel

As part of the Knife Angel campaign, in conjunction with Durham Constabulary, Optimum Skills has designed and crafted a Wooden Knife Angel. The angel will function as a message board for individuals to share how knife crime has impacted their lives.

We spoke with Kevin Alexander, Construction Tutor, and Stephanie Hudson, Head of Quality, about the concept of the Wooden Knife Angel and the impact we hope it will have on the community and our learners.

Throughout June, both Knife Angels will be showcased in Newton Aycliffe, starting on Saturday 31st May, as part of the month-long campaign against knife crime.
