“I feel doing an apprenticeship was a lot more hands on and it helps you learn more skills and knowledge. It can help you grow as a person, you have more opportunities and you can grow with the business and base your learning around your place of work. It is rewarding knowing your work gets noticed and praised. After passing my level 2 I have moved onto my level 3 and after that I am hoping to keep studying and moving up the levels. ” – Becky

“Apprenticeships are a fantastic route for young people to get into work and gain qualifications. Its beneficial for companies as they can mould their apprentices and support them through their development with their work experience and qualifications. It is beneficial for apprentices as they are paid for their work and have their qualifications paid for them. Optimum have been very good in providing Becky with the knowledge and support she needed to complete her Level 2 qualification and now move on to her level 3. I look forward to seeing how Becky progresses with Optimums support. ” – Faith (Manager/ Mentor)
