Matthew – Landscape and Horticulture Apprenticeship

After a period of uncertainty regarding employment and having various knockbacks in terms of apprenticeships, Matthew started his journey with the reputable Beaumont Grounds Maintenance in April 2018 as an Apprentice in Landscaping and Horticulture. Matthew was selected from a pool of candidates due to his enthusiasm and eagerness, as well as his desire to learn a new skill and is flourishing within the organisation.

In terms of progression, Matthew has developed his knowledge within landscaping and is rapidly learning new hand skills in line with the requirements of the role, which is resulting in Matthew receiving excellent feedback from his employers and colleagues, having already been described as an “excellent worker and a valued employee”

Matthew will continue to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours in order to complete his apprenticeship and become a full-time employee at Beaumont GM.

Alex Lineton, Managing Director of Beaumont GM, stated the following when describing Matthew and his fellow apprentice; “Bailey and Matty have settled in well at Beaumont; they are working well with their teams and learning each day, long may it continue! They are an asset to Beaumont team”
