We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Recruitment Apprentice to join our growing team in Newcastle and develop a successful career in recruitment.

Role Overview

As a Recruitment Apprentice, you will support the recruitment team with sourcing candidates, managing applications, maintaining recruitment databases, and assisting clients and candidates throughout the hiring process. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with advertising vacancies across job boards and social media platforms.
  • Source candidates using CV databases, online searches, and networking tools.
  • Screen CVs and applications against job requirements.
  • Conduct candidate registration calls and initial interviews.
  • Arrange interviews and assessments for candidates.
  • Maintain accurate records on the company CRM and recruitment systems.
  • Build and develop relationships with candidates and clients.
  • Support consultants with administrative recruitment tasks.
  • Prepare candidate profiles and submission documents.
  • Assist with compliance checks, right-to-work documentation, and referencing.
  • Monitor job adverts and candidate responses.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and candidates.

What We Are Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Professional and friendly manner.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, sales, or administration.
  • Interest in recruitment, sales, or human resources.
  • Experience using social media platforms professionally.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn and online recruitment tools.
