We are seeking a motivated Business Administration Apprentice to join our team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in office management and administrative functions within a professional environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, organised, and possess strong communication skills to support various business operations.

Duties

  • Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry and document organisation
  • Support the team with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
  • Handle correspondence via phone, email, and other communication channels with professionalism and courtesy
  • Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
  • Prepare reports and presentations as required
  • Support invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping activities
  • Contribute to organising meetings, events, and office supplies management
  • Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, and scanning documents

Experience

  • Previous office experience or administrative experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and basic data entry skills
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
