Improvement Practitioner Apprenticeship Level 4

Identify and lead the delivery of change across organisational functions and processes.

The Level 4 Improvement Practitioner Apprenticeship is ideal for existing staff to undertake that already perform the role and want a qualification or someone going into that role. The learner must be responsible for leading the delivery of change across business functions and processes across all industry sectors. Typically these learners lead smaller projects and/or play a key role in supporting larger projects, tackle issues that need swift action, complete in-depth analysis of reoccurring challenges and implement a range of effective and sustainable countermeasures.

  • Typical Duration: 14 – 18 Months

  • Delivery: Day Release

  • Assessment Methods 

    The End Point Assessment will consist of:

    1. A multiple-choice test
    2. Project presentation
    3. Professional discussion supported by portfolio of evidence

Training Programme

Knowledge – to learn and gather evidence on
• Compliance, team leadership, project management, change management, Six Sigma and Lean principles, data analysis using ICT, presentation and reporting, experimentation, root cause analysis.
Skills – to develop, demonstrate and evidence
• Compliance and communication, coaching skills, managing projects, managing change, using lean tools and techniques, benchmarking, plan clear experiments and data analysis.
Behaviours – to develop, demonstrate and evidence
• Drive for results, team-working, professionalism, continuous development, safe working.
